Welcome to the Washington County Public Schools
Aspiring Entrepreneurs Competition!

The next generation of entrepreneurs often comes from the most unexpected places. What better place to discover home-grown talent than in our public schools?

The WCPS Aspiring Entrepreneurs Competition represents a partnership between the Hagerstown-Washington County Chamber of Commerce and Washington County Public Schools. The process is designed to inspire and support the curiosity, creativity, and achievement of young entrepreneurs in our community. Students may submit an invention, product, or service concept for a chance to win a Startup Scholarship. Along the way, students will gain valuable real-world experience by seeing their passions, ideas, and creativity take shape and launch them into their future.

This rubric will be utilized to score applications.

Finalists will have the opportunity to pitch their ideas in front of a live audience and panel of expert judges from the community on May 19, 2020. It will be an experience our students will never forget!

Good luck, Aspiring Entrepreneurs!
